SATICOY : Young Man Sought in Market Robbery
Ventura County sheriff’s deputies were looking Sunday for a young man who robbed a Saticoy food store at gunpoint.
Witnesses said the suspect was between 18 and 24 years old, wore a dark cloth over his face and carried a handgun when he entered Le Town Market on Azahar Street at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, deputies said.
The young man demanded cash from the clerk, then ran from the store with an undetermined amount of money, deputies said.
Witnesses said the man was dressed in light green cotton pants, a long-sleeved shirt and black gloves.
No one was hurt, deputies said.
