Zoo Donates Body of Ling-Ling for Research

WASHINGTON — The body of the National Zoo’s female panda, Ling-Ling, has been donated to the Smithsonian’s Museum of Natural History for scientific research, officials said Tuesday. Ling-Ling died last week at age 23 of heart failure.
