Wilson Trails Batman: When it comes to drawing a television audience, Gov. Pete Wilson is no Batman. KCAL Channel 9’s coverage of Wilson’s State of the State address Wednesday was the lowest-rated program seen in Los Angeles between 5-5:30 p.m., according to figures released Thursday by the A. C. Nielsen Co. Wilson drew a 2.8 rating. With each local ratings point representing 49,657 households, that means about 139,000 households were tuned in. “Batman: The Animated Series” on KTTV Channel 11 had a 6.1 rating. The biggest ratings went to newscasts on KABC (9.9), KNBC (8.4) and KCBS (6.4).
