Edison Official Honored for Rebuilding Efforts

Rick Yamamoto, investment manager for Southern California Edison Co. in Rosemead, was among 17 people and four corporations recognized by the New York Stock Exchange and Rebuild LA for their efforts in beginning the economic and community rebuilding process.
Yamamoto was presented the “Building for the Future” award for his creation of the Summer Business Institute that exposes women and minorities to the investment field, and the Wall Street SuperQuiz Competition, an after-school program for local high school students.
