Police Seek Driver Who Struck Girl, 2
A 2-year-old girl was in serious condition after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Sunday in front of a motel where she was staying at 2255 W. Lincoln Ave., police said.
The motorist was described as male, 20 to 22 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, and of medium build. The vehicle was described as a two-tone 1970s’ model Chevrolet Monte Carlo or Buick Regal with a dark color on top and lighter color on the bottom.
A witness said the car’s license plate may have begun with “2CNX” or “2CMX.” Anyone with information should call (714) 254-1861 or (714) 254-1835.
