Inauguration Fest: HBO is blocking out two hours on Sunday at 8 p.m. to broadcast “An American Reunion: The People’s Inaugural Celebration,” the free public event that will take place that day on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and offer a multitude of stars. President-elect Bill Clinton and Vice President-elect Al Gore are scheduled to make their first inaugural appearance in Washington at the event, which Quincy Jones is producing. The talent lineup ranges from Kathleen Battle, Tony Bennett and Ray Charles to Yo-Yo Ma, Harry Belafonte, James Earl Jones, Jack Nicholson and Sidney Poitier. The event is expected to draw about 300,000.
