20th Century Industries Inc. of Woodland Hills announced four promotions. David W. Walker was named assistant vice president of accounting. A 20th Century employee since 1981, Walker was previously the insurance firm’s accounting director. Gerald M. Kyle, who has been with the firm since 1963, was promoted from manager to auto underwriting director.

Caren L. Silvestri, previously property underwriting manager, was named property underwriting director. Silvestri has been with 20th Century since 1982. David C. Lane, formerly unit claim manager, is a now division claim manager of the company’s Santa Ana office. He joined 20th Century in 1980.
