World IN BRIEF : CAMBODIA : U.N. Workers Killed in Rocket Attack

Two Cambodian women working for the U.N. peacekeeping operation were killed in a rocket attack, a U.N. official said. The official said he believes the women were employed as translators for the department of the U.N. Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) that is organizing elections. He said they were members of the electoral staff employed by UNTAC. The rocket attack took place in Siem Reap province north of the capital, Phnom Penh, the official said.
