Whoopi Gets Nod: The National Assn. of Theater Owners has picked Whoopi Goldberg as the 1993 Female Star of the Year. Naming of her male counterpart is still to come. Other recipients to receive awards March 11 at the group’s annual ShoWest convention are Arnold Schwarzenegger as International Star of the Decade and Richard Friedenberg as Screenwriter of the Year for “A River Runs Through It.” . . . Clint Eastwood will receive the ACE Golden Eddie Award and be made an honorary member of the American Cinema Editors on March 27 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The award recognizes Eastwood’s career accomplishments as well as his work as producer, director and star of “Unforgiven.”
