Poll Finds Business Optimistic About Clinton: As the inauguration approaches, business leaders are far more optimistic that the economy will grow with Bill Clinton in the White House than they were just a few months ago, according to a survey. Conducted for Reuters and the Public Broadcasting Service’s “Nightly Business Report,” by the research group Yankelovich Partners Inc., the poll showed that 70% of executives expect the economy to improve under the Clinton Administration. That’s up from only 27% in September during the presidential campaign.
