ASC Nominees: The American Society of Cinematographers has selected five nominees for its seventh annual outstanding achievement award, and they include the most multinational representation in the history of the competition. Stephen Burum (United States) is nominated for “Hoffa,” Tony Pierce-Roberts (England) for “Howards End,” Robert Richardson (United States) for “A Few Good Men,” Philippe Rousselot (France) for “A River Runs Though It” and Dante Spinotti (Italy) for “The Last of the Mohicans.” The winner will be announced Feb. 21.
