PLACENTIA : Applicants Sought for City Commissions

Share

Applications are being accepted for vacancies on the Planning Commission, the Traffic Safety Commission and the Advisory Board for the Disabled.

The resignations of Robert Ward and Cheryl Perreira have created two vacancies on the Planning Commission. One term expires July, 1994, and the other in July, 1995. Commissioners are responsible for reviewing new development plans and making recommendations to the City Council on development issues and zoning ordinances.

Jodi Stout-Ward’s resignation has left an opening on the Traffic Safety Commission. The commission advises the City Council on traffic safety matters, including bicycle and pedestrian traffic, and reviews public suggestions and complaints. The term expires in July, 1994.
