The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Jan. 25 and 31:
Glendale
Vasser Avenue, 1800 block--A woman who left her house unlocked for 20 minutes at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 reported that her VCR, CD player and a gold ring, valued at $1,100, had been stolen.
North Kenwood Street, 300 block--Thieves cut the lock off a garage and stole tools, valued at more than $3,500, between 1:15 and 8:45 p.m. Jan. 25.
West Stocker Street, 400 block--A woman was robbed at gunpoint in an apartment garage of the keys to her son’s vehicle, and two men fled in the car at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 25.
Colorado Street, 1200 block--The glass door of a shoe store was smashed at 5:26 a.m. Jan. 27, and about 33 pairs of shoes, valued at $3,300, were stolen.
Air Way, 1400 block--A man who got off a bus at 5 a.m. Jan. 27 was attacked and robbed at knifepoint of $2.50.
Madison Way, 300 block--Burglars broke a rear window of a house and stole a VCR, fax machine, phone and coins, valued at more than $910, between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
West Stocker Street, 100 block--A man with a note saying he had a gun robbed a bank teller of $312 at 10:23 a.m. Jan. 27.
Laurel Street, 100 block--A woman leaving a class with another woman was thrown to the ground and robbed of her purse and money, valued at $460, by two men at 8:50 p.m. Jan. 28.
San Fernando Road, 4100 block--Thieves threw a rock through the window of an auto parts store on Jan. 29 or 30 and stole about 250 cans of spray paint, valued at $750.
West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1100 block--A man with a gun entered a hair salon, ordered five women to the floor and robbed them and the owner of $129 at 8:40 p.m. Friday.
East Glenoaks Boulevard, 1700 block--An apartment was ransacked and burglarized between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and $80 was stolen.
Windsor Road, 1200 block--A thief picked an office door of a retirement home and stole a cash box, which contained an unknown amount of money, between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday.
La Canada Flintridge
Atlee Drive, 1100 block--On Jan. 23 or 24, a garage was broken into and power tools, valued at $180, were stolen.
Atwater Village
Perlita Avenue, 3400 block--Video equipment and a TV, valued at $3,395, were stolen from a house through an unlocked window Jan. 25 or 26.
Cypress Park
Figueroa Street and San Fernando Road--A driver stopped at a red light was robbed of his car at gunpoint by two men at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 27.
Barclay Street, 2000 block--Cameras and equipment, valued at $2,000, were stolen from a house between 1 and 3:15 p.m. Jan. 28.
Eagle Rock
Live Oak View Avenue--Burglars entered a house through an open bathroom window and stole jewelry and video equipment, valued at $7,600, between Jan. 22 and 25.
Rockland Street, 5100 block--Between Jan. 25 and 27, a house was broken into, ransacked and burglarized. Jewelry and video equipment, valued at $31,350, were stolen.
Glassell Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--Bolt cutters were used to break into a storage shed on Jan. 24 or 25, and sporting goods, valued at $2,700, were stolen.
Division Street, 2900 block--Burglars forced entry to a garage, ransacked it and stole money and jewelry, valued at $1,870, between 11 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Jan. 26.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--A public storage space was broken into on Jan. 26 or 27, and a TV and stereo, valued at $3,175, were stolen.
Jessica Drive, 4500 block--A man who brought another man to his house at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 27 was struck on the head, tied up and robbed of money and video equipment, valued at $700.
San Fernando Road, 2000 block--Tools valued at $5,500 were stolen from a business garage on Jan. 28 and 29.
Echo Park
Coronado Terrace, 1300 block--Thieves kicked in the front door of a house and stole camera and video equipment valued at $1,715 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 26.
Lucretia Avenue, 1600 block--Burglars took the hinges off the rear door of a house and stole firearms valued at $2,600 between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 26.
Montana and Douglas streets--Six men participated in a carjacking at 11 p.m. Saturday.
Griffith Park
Zoo Drive, 5300 block--A thief scaled an 8-foot fence topped with razor wire, broke an office window to obtain a key and then unlocked a storage shed and stole a stereo and other property, valued at $3,135, on Jan. 26 or 27.
Highland Park
North Avenue 52, 300 block--Jewelry valued at $6,000 was stolen from an apartment between Jan. 22 and 29, and a pass key was reported missing from the apartment management.
North Avenue 63, 700 block--Thieves smashed the bedroom window of a house and took firearms and money, valued together at $14,180, between Jan. 22 and 24.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4300 block--Tools valued at $5,300 were stolen from a business between Jan. 23 and 25.
York Boulevard, 3700 block--Burglars entered a house through a sliding door between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 25 and stole camera equipment valued at $1,495.
York Boulevard, 5100 block--Two men ordered pizza at a restaurant and then demanded money at gunpoint at 10:40 p.m. Jan. 25. They fled with $270.
North Avenue 46, 1300 block--Thieves kicked in the rear door of a house and stole a TV and a stereo, valued at $4,190, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Jan. 26.
North Avenue 64, 400 block--A man with a gun asked a gas station attendant for change, pulled out a revolver and robbed the man of $400 at 7 p.m. Jan. 26.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4000 block--A man with a gun robbed a gas station attendant of $350 at 2:05 a.m. Jan. 27.
Meridian and Figueroa streets--Three men stole the car of a woman who left the engine running at 9:25 p.m. Jan. 27.
West Avenue 42, 4400 block--A garage was forced open Jan. 28 or 29 and tools valued at $1,730 were stolen.
La Prada Drive and Figueroa Street--A man stopped at an intersection in his vehicle was fired upon six times by another man at 12:15 a.m. Friday, but the victim was not injured.
York Boulevard, 4500 block--Two men held a gun to a man’s neck and took his wallet, valued at $55, from his pocket at 10:50 p.m. Friday.
York Boulevard and Branch Avenue--At 7:05 a.m. Saturday, a man ran up and grabbed a purse, valued at $26, from a woman on the sidewalk.
Buchanan Street, 5600 block--Computer and video equipment valued at $3,405 were stolen from an apartment between 1:30 and 4 p.m. Saturday.
York Boulevard, 4900 block--A mini-market clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $100 at 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
Irvington Place, 5200 block--Two men with a revolver demanded money from a man at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, but the victim said he had none, and the men fled in the victim’s vehicle.
Los Feliz
Hillhurst Street, 2000 block--Two men with a handgun robbed the clerks in a market at 8:15 p.m. of $600.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 3000 block--A gas station attendant was robbed at gunpoint of $200 at 7:40 p.m. Jan. 26.
New Hampshire and Lexington avenues--Two men placed a knife to a man’s genitals and robbed him of jewelry valued at $60 at 11:25 p.m. Jan. 25.
North Edgemont Street, 2000 block--Money and jewelry valued at $1,100 were stolen from a house between 8:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 26.
Hoover Street, 1200 block--A man entered an apartment at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 27, threatened the victim with a kitchen knife and robbed him of his wallet and cash, valued at $460.
Fountain Avenue, 4700 block--Three men forced two people in a fast-food restaurant to the floor at knifepoint and robbed them of money and jewelry, valued at $482, at 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
Clarissa Avenue, 4600 block--Burglars smashed the rear window of a house and stole a stereo and video equipment, valued at $2,040, between 7:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28.
St. George Street and Griffith Park Boulevard--Two women on a sidewalk at 1:30 p.m. Friday were robbed at gunpoint of their purses and wallets, valued at $193, by two men who fled in a vehicle after firing three shots.
Normandie Avenue, 1400 block--Thieves used channel locks to enter an apartment, where they stole video equipment and a TV, valued at $1,600, on Friday or Saturday.
Normandie Avenue, 1400 block--Two men simulating a gun forced their way into a woman’s car at 3:10 p.m. Saturday and fled with the vehicle.
Myra Avenue, 1100 block--A man shot another man once in the head at 11:45 p.m. Saturday and fled on foot.
Silver Lake
Moore Street, 2200 block--Computer equipment and recorded music valued at $6,950 were stolen between Jan. 25 and 27.
Glendale Boulevard, 2300 block--Two men grabbed a man by the throat, demanded money, threw the victim to the ground and fled with money and jewelry valued at $957 at 7:55 p.m. Jan. 25.
Garden Avenue, 3200 block--Burglars pried the rear door off a house and stole a TV and phone equipment valued at $5,160 on Jan. 26 or 27.
Micheltorena Street, 1800 block--Thieves used a screwdriver to lift a sliding glass door from its track and enter a house, where they stole clothing and video equipment, valued at $2,200, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 27.
Bancroft Avenue, 2200 block--On Jan. 28 or 29, burglars cut the lock of a garage and stole tools and sporting goods valued at $1,455.
