Agoglia Named President of NBC Productions: John J. Agoglia has been named president of the network’s in-house TV program production arm. Agoglia, 55, who had been executive vice president of the unit since 1984, also continues in his multiple roles of president of NBC Enterprises, head of business affairs for the entertainment division, and overseeing foreign and domestic distribution and co-ventures. Burbank-based NBC Productions produces “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night With David Letterman.” In addition, it increasingly supplies shows to the network’s prime-time schedule, including “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Out All Night” and “Secret Service,” as well as the live-action Saturday morning series “Saved by the Bell” and “California Dreams.”
