Mickey Conroy

In a word, I am appalled by Conroy, who needs, in the parlance of today, to “get a life.”
While of course the people of Orange County are entitled to elect to the Legislature whatever brain-dead gadfly they wish, I for one would hope that in the future they consider the proposition that legislative gridlock results at least in part from the misguided energy of one-issue pseudo-patriots like Conroy, who would rather rehash the past than pursue the future, and who places his personal obsession ahead of the needs of this great state.
As for Conroy’s threat to move to the Los Angeles area and run for office, please, be my guest. But do not be surprised when you find yourself on the unemployment line. Angelenos are aware that it is with the future of this state we wish our legislators to concern themselves, and are too sophisticated to fall for what is nothing more than a moot smear campaign.
