Terry Evans scored 26 points to lead Oklahoma to an upset Big Eight road victory over No. 6-ranked Kansas, 80-77, Wednesday night at Lawrence, Kan.

Despite a Jayhawk crowd of almost 16,000, Evans played all 40 minutes.

“This is one of my favorite road gyms,” Evans said. “Whenever you’ve got a crowd like that, it really makes you want to shut them down. It motivates me.”
