Capistrano Beach : Sanitary District to Fill Board Vacancy
- Share via
The Capistrano Beach Sanitary District Board of Directors is expected to fill a vacancy on the panel at its March 18 meeting.
The opening was created by the resignation of former board member Dennis Erdman, who is also general manager of the Capistrano Beach Water District.
Erdman was elected to the sanitary district last November.
Initially, water district attorney Ron Van Blarcom approved Erdman’s holding both jobs. But after further review, he advised him to resign from the sanitary board, citing the potential for a conflict between the two jobs.
Erdman is also a former general manager for the sanitary district. In addition, he was a board member of the neighboring Tri-Cities Water District for 16 years until last November.
