Occidental Receives $935,000 in Grants
Occidental College received two grants totaling $935,000 to provide scholarships and improve facilities.
The Margaret Bundy Scott Trust gave the Eagle Rock private liberal arts college $800,000 to provide funding for 14 members of the class of 1994, support for the Volunteer Programs Center, start-up funds for a new physics lab, and a computer workstation for theoretical physics.
The Booth Ferris Foundation’s grant of $135,000 will update the college’s language laboratory by funding an audio lab, a video lab, new computers and software, paint and carpeting.
