8 Hong Kong Films to Screen
Assassins and ghosts take over the screen in eight Hong Kong films at a festival at AMC Pine Square 16 Theatres in Long Beach. They are:
* “A Chinese Ghost Story,” today at 7:30 p.m. and Friday at 9:45. “Peking Opera Blues,” today at 9:45 p.m., Friday at 7:30.
* “A Better Tomorrow,” and “Hard-Boiled,” Saturday and Sunday. Call the theater at (310) 435-1335 for times.
* “One Upon a Time in China II” and “Swordsman II,” Monday and Tuesday.
* “Savior of the Soul” and “The God of Gamblers” Wednesday and March 4.
Regular admission for each movie is $6.75; $4.75, students; $3.75, seniors and children. Bargain matinees are $4.75.
