BACK AGAIN: The city’s most famous former resident is undoubtedly Kevin Costner, class of ’78 at Cal State Fullerton and still a guy willing to lend a hand to his alma mater. The star of baseball movies “Bull Durham” and “Field of Dreams” showed up with his wife, Cindy, also a graduate of the school, last year to inaugurate the Titans’ new baseball field. Costner threw out the first pitch and noted that such ceremonies are usually “for when people retire. I’m not retiring, and I’m not sick.”
