New Bonita Assistant Superintendent Named

Lorna Horton has been named assistant superintendent of instructional services for the Bonita Unified School District. She will supervise curriculum and instruction, pupil services, day care, and vocational and alternative education. After teaching 15 years in the Covina Valley Unified School District, Horton joined Bonita as a program specialist in 1984. She served as principal at Roynon Elementary School and Allen Avenue Elementary School, as director of elementary education and as director of curriculum and instruction.
