Winners of Turf Club Poster Contest Named

The Los Angeles Turf Club has announced winners of a contest for 80 students at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena to create imaginative posters depicting horses for Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. John Piampiano, first-place winner, received $2,000. Kazuko Ogawa took second-place winnings of $1,500 and Robin Harker, third, won $1,000. In addition, the club donated $4,500 to the college for scholarships in illustration. The posters will be exhibited at Santa Anita from March 10-April 2.
