Bo Jackson, playing baseball for the first time in almost a year after hip replacement surgery, got off to an inauspicious start during a Chicago White Sox intrasquad game.

In his first at-bat against White Sox starter Alex Fernandez, Jackson slipped coming out of the batter’s box on a ground ball. In his next swing, he grounded into a double play against rookie Robert Ellis. Jackson is bothered by a sore hamstring.
