Rare Appearance: Singer Lena Horne will make a rare TV appearance on an episode of the NBC comedy “A Different World” scheduled to air in May. Horne, who will play herself, visits Hillman College to dedicate a scholarship. She also will perform “If You Believe” from the musical “The Wiz.” This will be the singer’s first TV appearance in eight years.
