Stanford won six of seven events and Cardinal freshman Joe Hudepohl, a 1992 U.S. Olympian, set a meet record in the 200-yard freestyle Friday in the Pac-10 men’s swimming and diving meet.

Hudepohl was timed in 1:35.05 to erase the mark of 1:35.58 set by Troy Dalbey of Arizona State in 1991.

At last year’s summer Olympics in Barcelona, Hudepohl won a gold medal by swimming on the winning 400-meter freestyle relay.
