Kamikaze Irish Mice Halt Town, Burn Out

DUBLIN —
An army of kamikaze Irish mice brought a town to a standstill and then burned themselves out.
The mice chewed their way through the cables operating the traffic lights in the western Ireland town of Tralee.
The signals stopped working but the mice were all electrocuted.
A council worker reported finding dead mice everywhere in the control box. “They had apparently just continued eating through the wiring until they had all killed themselves,” he said.
