Falling for It: “Falling Down” did not fall from its No. 1 spot at the box office during the weekend. The Warner Bros. film starring Michael Douglas grossed $7.5 million in its second weekend in release. At No. 2 was “Groundhog Day,” Columbia’s comedy starring Bill Murray, with $5.5 million. Disney’s “Homeward Bound” was next with $4 million. Another Murray film--newcomer to the pack “Mad Dog and Glory,” from Universal--was in fourth with $3.7 million. Columbia’s new entry “Amos & Andrew” and Miramax’s multiple-Oscar nominee “The Crying Game” both grossed $3.6 million to tie for fifth.
