Cesar Awards: “Les Nuits Fauves (Savage Nights)” walked off with four of the French Cesar awards Monday night just three days after director Cyril Collard, who also wrote and starred in the film about a young bisexual’s struggle with AIDS, died from the disease at age 35. The French equivalent of the Oscars were bestowed for best film, best first film, best editing and most promising actress (Romane Bohringer). The night’s second big winner was the melodrama “Indochine,” which picked up three Cesars, including best actress for Oscar contender Catherine Deneuve.
