DeeDee Jonrowe of Willow, Alaska, led the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race when she stopped at Ophir, Alaska, for a mandatory 30-hour layover. Ophir is more than 400 miles into the 1,161 mile race that stretches across Alaska from Anchorage to Nome.

In second place at Ophir was Montana musher Doug Swingley, who finished ninth last year.
