SUN VALLEY : Man Found Fatally Shot in His Truck

A Val Verde man was found dead of gunshot wounds in his truck in Sun Valley, authorities said Thursday.
Louie Robert Haro, 27, had been shot several times in the upper torso when passersby discovered his body about 7 a.m. Wednesday in his pickup truck in the 9800 block of Glenoaks Boulevard, Detective Gary Holbrook said.
Haro was lying across the floorboards of his truck, which had been left in a parking lot, he said.
Friends last saw Haro about 6 p.m. Tuesday, Holbrook said. Police do not know why Haro was in Sun Valley and have no motive for the killing.
