GETTING TO GORE: Ted Rosenbaum of Leisure World in Laguna Hills was among a group who presented to Vice President Al Gore recently almost a million letters advocating a health care system modeled after Canada’s. Rosenbaum says the group told Gore: “What better legacy to leave your grandchildren than universal health care coverage.” . . . Gore seemed “misty-eyed,” he adds, at some of the vignettes they told about the elderly’s health problems.
