Milinichik Leaves Rams for Chargers

Joe Milinichik, the Rams’ starting right guard, turned his back on an additional $150,000 Thursday and agreed to accept a $2.2-million, two-year contract to jump to the San Diego Chargers.

The Rams, now left with a gaping hole at right guard, will meet with three possible replacements next week: San Diego’s David Richards, Green Bay’s Ron Hallstrom and Buffalo’s Mitch Frerotte.
