A 69-year-old Yorba Linda man suffered a fatal heart attack while driving and lost control of his car, slamming into a tree, authorities said Tuesday.
John Lewis Guthrie was pronounced dead Monday at the scene of the 1:30 p.m. accident along Dominguez Ranch Road south of Pablo Road. Police said Guthrie, who was alone in his car as he drove home from a golf game, was traveling north on Dominguez Ranch Road when he came to a slight curve.
