From Staff and Wire Reports
Heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe’s manager was fined $1,000 and ordered to undergo counseling on charges stemming from the beating of a news photographer.
Rock Newman agreed to the sentence under a plea bargain in which he and camp member Bernard Brooks Jr. pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery charges in Clark County Justice Court.
