The Silent Society will celebrate the seventh anniversary of its founding at the Hollywood Studio Museum, 2100 N. Highland Ave., tonight with a 7:30 p.m. program of fragments of lost films, including a nearly complete print of “Call of Her People” (1917), starring Ethel Barrymore.
The screening will serve as a presentation to the museum of four newly restored turn-of-the-century motion picture cameras formerly owned by Herbert O. Carleton Sr., cinematographer of “Call of Her People.”
Refreshments will be served.
