Nation IN BRIEF : MARYLAND : Man Held After 12 Shot in Dice Game

A man was arrested in Baltimore and three more were being sought after 12 people were shot during a street dice game, police said. Sean Levin Brooks, 23, was charged with 12 counts of attempted murder and related weapons violations for the Saturday night shooting, police spokesman Doug Price said. The victims, all males, ranged in age from 14 to 55. Police said the gunmen fired between 35 and 40 rounds from several weapons, including a semiautomatic assault rifle.
