KILLER LOOK: Mission Viejo mystery writer Noreen Ayres will grace this year’s annual Orange County Public Library poster--available at all 27 branches beginning Monday as part of National Library Week. She’s the eighth local author chosen for the honor. Ayres says: “Libraries provide solace--a wonderful, quiet place for the soul.” The poster shows Ayres in a morgue, a setting befitting Smokey Brandon, her forensic specialist character.
