Gates and the Candidates: Daryl F. Gates, the former Los Angeles police chief turned radio talk-show host, will moderate a live call-in forum featuring eight of the leading Los Angeles mayoral candidates, 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday on KFI-AM (640). No word yet on whether candidate Michael Woo, Gates’ nemesis prior to his departure from the police department, will be among them.
