BIG TIME: If you go to Santa Ana’s Valley High School, be prepared for a lengthy senior graduation exercise. It’s the only public high school in the county with more than 3,000 students. The Santa Ana Unified district has three of the five most populated public high schools here. . . . Says spokeswoman Diane Thomas: “We’re growing in class size and due soon for a new high school to ease the pressure. But getting another school takes about a five-year process.”
