Ducks to Mail Season-Ticket Brochures

Share

Mighty Duck season-ticket brochures will be mailed Tuesday to those on the list of season-ticket prospects, the team announced Friday.

“We appreciate our fans’ patience,” said Disney Sports Enterprises President Tony Tavares, who said he had hoped to mail the information about two weeks earlier. “We’re all anxious to get this season ticket process rolling and this mailing sets the wheels in motion.”

With a May 3 deadline for returning ticket requests along with a $250-per-seat deposit, fans will have to make a decision before the Ducks draft their first players in the June expansion and entry drafts.

The brochures, which include seating and price charts, ask fans to list three seating preferences. Requests will be granted based on a priority list that was established in the order fans requested information. The priority list includes requests made through the City of Anaheim and arena operator Ogden Services as well as through the team. Fans can still be added to the list of about 17,000 by calling 1-800-HOCKEY4.

Because of the priority system, only original order forms will be processed. There is a limit of six tickets per request.

Season-ticket prices, which were announced earlier, range from $16 to $125 per game, with estimated total prices ranging from $720-$5,625, based on a projected 45-game schedule including exhibitions.

The team also announced prices for Club Concourse seats, which range from $5,800 to $6,800. Similar to Senate seats at the Forum, the seats include admission not only to hockey games, but most events at the arena, such as concerts and ice shows.

Tickets to individual games are not yet available. Though Tavares said he believes the team could sell out 17,250-seat Anaheim Arena on a season-ticket basis, he said at least 1,500-2,000 tickets will be held back for individual-game sales and charity donations.
