AND ONE MORE THING: Morgan Creek Records, which seemed to have money to burn when film mogul James Robinson started it three years ago, is looking for a new source of cash. Robinson is said to have considered selling the company, which has had success only with the “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and “The Last of the Mohicans” soundtrack albums and has failed to make expected commercial headway with L.A. alternative band Mary’s Danish. Now, though, sources close to the company have confirmed, Morgan Creek has retained the powerful law firm of Ziffren, Brittenham and Branca to help find a new partner.
