Cal State L.A. Honors Microbiology Professor

Rosemarie Marshall, Cal State Los Angeles professor of microbiology, will receive the 1992-93 Cal State University Trustee’s Outstanding Professor Award.
The award recognizes superlative teaching. Each nomination is supported by current and former students, faculty colleagues, administrators and others.
Marshall joined the faculty at Cal State L.A. in 1978. She received her B.S. in microbiology from the University of Washington, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in bacteriology from Iowa State University.
