Styles on Video Nets $349,000 in Quarter

Styles on Video Inc., a Canoga Park developer and marketer of computerized imaging systems that show pictures of proposed hairstyles, said it earned $349,000 on revenue of $1.5 million for its fiscal third quarter ended March 31.

Styles on Video did not generate revenue in the same period a year earlier because it was still in a development stage. For the nine months ended March 31, the company earned $920,000 on revenue of $4 million. Styles on Video was formerly a subsidiary of New Image Industries in Canoga Park, but in late March it was spun off as a separate company.
