Carolco Deal May Be Revised: A tentative financial restructuring negotiated in December involving ailing Carolco Pictures--maker of such films as “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”--is expected to be significantly altered soon and could include a $100-million infusion from cable giant Tele-Communications Inc., sources say. TCI is interested in possibly debuting Carolco films over its cable systems. But a number of uncertainties remain that could affect such a plan, including whether Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer will become Carolco’s new distributor in 1994 as planned, or whether Carolco will continue its distribution arrangement with TriStar.
