Live Coverage of Waco Hearing Set

The C-SPAN cable channel and KCRW-FM (89.9) will begin continuous live coverage at 7 a.m. of today’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on the federal government’s actions regarding the raid, subsequent 51-day standoff and fatal fire at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Tex.
Cable News Network also plans extensive coverage when the witnesses begin their testimony.
Atty. Gen. Janet Reno is scheduled to be the first witnesses. FBI Director William Sessions and Stephen Higgins, director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, are also scheduled to testify.
