Investigators for the Ventura County district attorney’s office arrested six men and four others turned themselves in voluntarily after failing to pay more than $150,000 in child support, Dist. Atty. Michael D. Bradbury said Wednesday.

Seven agents and five assistants participated in a child support warrant roundup April 24, arresting the six men on charges ranging from failing to pay child support, violation of probation, failure to appear and civil contempt, he said. Bradbury said others who do not meet their child-support obligations will be targeted in future roundups.

“Absentee parents should know the district attorney’s office will continue to aggressively track down those who fail to fulfill their responsibility to provide necessary support for their children,” he said in a prepared statement.
