Woman Reported Missing Is Found at Friend’s Home
A 23-year-old woman who had been missing for the past 11 days was discovered at a friend’s house in Mission Viejo, sheriff’s deputies said Thursday.
Angeline Felicidad Muego, who authorities say has limited mental capacity, was reported missing by her uncle on April 17.
Although authorities did not believe foul play was involved, they issued a precautionary media alert Wednesday in hopes that the woman would turn up.
“All we know at the moment is that we got a call from the woman’s mother, who said (Muego) had been staying with a friend,” said Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson. “We were obligated to do everything we could to make sure she was safe.”
