A Dancer’s Moves: Renowned dancer Fernando Bujones will assume the directorship of Ballet Mississippi beginning in September. The troupe is host of a competition held in Jackson that is one of the biggest international contests in the world for ballet dancers. Bujones will dance as a guest with the 14-member troupe and stage and choreograph ballets. A former principal dancer at American Ballet Theatre, Bujones, 38, is the permanent guest artist at the Boston Ballet, where he hopes to continue appearing.
