Aerojet, PG&E; to Develop Natural Gas Fuel Tanks: Aerojet, the Sacramento-based defense contractor, and Northern California’s Pacific Gas & Electric Co. announced that they will adapt military and space technology to build mobile fueling facilities for compressed natural gas. The goal is to cut costs to fleet users that now must pay as much as $500,000 to build a natural gas fueling depot at their facilities. The new tanks will cost about $100,000 to build. The partners plan to turn the technology over to fuel distribution companies for servicing individual fleets.
