The <i> Angst</i> of Generation X

As a member of the so-called Generation X, I feel compelled to respond to the allegations set forth by my peers (“Twentysomethings Go On-Line to Air Angst ,” April 28).
Believe it or not, the baby boomers did not conspire to destroy our lives. They persevered through similar, if not worse, recessionary times and managed to make admirable successes of themselves.
As for the twentynothings who are convinced that society has written them off, remember: There are no such things as dead-end jobs, only dead-end people.
Please stop whining. You make us all look bad.
